Ethics Hypothetical

At the top of the Government’s agenda for the Australian Public Service is reinvigorating the Westminster tradition of an independent public service and building a professionalised public service committed to excellence. Central to the achievement of both is a commitment to an ethical APS.

These and many more complex and engaging issues will be considered during the Ethics Hypothetical. This exciting event will be facilitated by leading educator, communications consultant, broadcaster and author, Mr Peter Thompson. He will be posing challenging ethical issues to a panel of senior public servants, politicians, academics and third sector officials.

Executive Level Leadership Network

The Leadership Development Network has undergone a name change, and is now known as the EL Leadership Network. The LDN had previously focussed on HR and L&D issues and membership attracted practitioners in these fields. The network proved to be very popular and reflected the broadening interest in leadership issues at the with EL level more generally across the APS. It is considered that the name change more accurately reflects the expanding network. For more information go to www.apsc.gov.au/leadership/network.htm
