Re-engagement of a person who has accepted a redundancy benefit
About re-engagement of a person who has accepted a redundancy benefit:
The Public Service Commissioners Directions 1999 operate to preclude a person who has accepted a Commonwealth redundancy benefit from being re-employed in the APS for 12 months after they have accepted that benefit. There are, however, limited exceptions to that general rule.
Current directive publications, circulars & advices:
- Circular No 2006/5: Engagement of persons who have received a redundancy benefit from Commonwealth employment – Impact of Telstra (3) sale
- Circular No 2003/5: Amendment to the Public Service Commissioner's Directions on the engagement of persons who have received a redundancy benefit from Commonwealth employment
